Charity Fashion Show Raises £2,000.00

By Mike Caddick

On Tuesday 8th April, Boutique 144 organised a charity fashion show in aid of The Chemotherapy Outreach Project at the South Hams Hospital. It was held at the Thurlestone Hotel, with lunch served before the show and raffle tickets being sold with some wonderful prizes, kindly donated by both local businesses and individuals, to be won. There were a variety of outfits from their Spring/ Summer 14 collection, ranging from casual ‘T’ shirts to elegant evening dresses and fascinators for special occasions. The designs modelled showed an array of bright colours, all perfectly balanced with shades of beige and of course the classic black and white, with a theme of floral and striped prints. All of the collections viewed at the event along with many others can be purchased at Boutique 144 or on the online store www.ladiesdesignerfashions.co.uk. Overall, the event raised an incredible £2,000.00 from the sale of show tickets and two raffles, the main prize being donated by Joseph Ribkoff.
